Oriental medicine considers that a disease is brought about by the stagnant flow of life energy, blood and other body fluid, which will cause various discomforts and pains in the body.

We eliminate the stagnant flow effectively with combination of Acupuncture Moxibustion and Meridian* Shiatsu Massage**.

* meridian lines (keiraku) : invisible lines that carry life energy (qi), blood, and other blood fluid throughout the body

We decide on courses of treatment after first examining　the strength and rhythms of the arterial pulsation on your wrists for the balance of life energy, then palpating the abdominal area for the temperature, moistness, roughness, tenderness (pressure pain), and degrees of tightness to see the condition of your organs.


Acupuncture
Acupuncture treatment is excellent in that it improves the stagnant flow of life energy, blood and other body fluid in the deep portions of your muscles or organs because it stimulates the blood vessels and the nervous systems.

　　　

We use hair-thin needles of 0.16 - 0.24 mm in diameter.
Needles are inserted so swiftly and tenderly you will not feel pain nor experience discomfort.
The thickness of the needles used and the depths of needling vary depending on the patient’s sensitivity and the insertion points.

From the aspects of good hygiene and prevention of infectious diseases, we use disposable needles only.　



We electrify the low frequency pulse into the needles inserted and left along the meridian lines, which enables more effective treatment. of infectious diseases, we use disposable needles only.


Moxibustion
There are two ways of moxibustion: one is to put moxa directly on the skin (diathermic moxibustions), and the other is to settle moxa indirectly on the skin (moxa cautery).



Moxibustion is effective for those with a chronic pain and/or a poor circulation.

We see many people suffering from sensitivity to cold temperatures due to air conditioners or too much intake of cold things.
We mainly use an electronic moxibustion machine highly simulating the thermal characteristics of moxibustion.

You will feel almost no residual smell on the hair or the clothes.

Our electronic moxibustion provides continuous and variable heat, enjoying a good reputation that you feel comfortable and sleepy.

The thermal sensor attached prevents burn injuries.


Meridian Shiatsu Massage
If you feel pain or discomfort, you have, in most cases, your posture off balance, or have undesirable movements in your joints including your backbone, or your body is distorted.

　　　

Meridian Shiatsu massage is effective in the sense that it improves the stagnant flow of life energy, blood and other body fluid by stimulating and correcting the joints and spine directly. The flow is said to be stagnant on the joints because the major points (youketsu) are concentrated in the joint sites.

The Shiatsu massage will be performed from the points at the end of your feet (seiketsu, known as the starting site of a disease), moving up along the meridian lines to loose and relax the joints, then it will correct the distortion in the spinal and pelvic area using your own bodily weight.
